Middle North Falls Photo in Winter,
Silver Falls State Park, Oregon

by Lee Reeder

The best time to visit Middle North Falls in Silver Falls State Park near Silverton Oregon is in the cold of winter. The 106-foot fall is shown in February 2006 ringed in ice and framed by mossy branches. This is my favorite waterfall along the Trail of the Ten Falls, because of its different moods throughout the seasons.
