San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve Photos
These are from a hike on May 31, 2009.

These photos were taken of wildlife and wildflowers at San Elijo Ecological Reserve. Great place for a family hike.

A Great Egret (Ardea alba) fishes in the lagoon.

Southwestern Thorn Apple (Datura wrightii) is blooming all over the reserve.

The same Great Egret as above, only airborne.

Bush Monkeyflower (Mimulus longiflora) is abundant on the southwestern slopes of the reserve.
