Pinnacles in Winter

This photo was taken just after the very steep climb halfway to the meadow. This view looks to the east northeast across Deep Creek's canyon to the snow-covered desert mountains beyond. Gorgeous day, and a balmy 36 degrees.

You don't often see yuccas in the snow, but we found them at the beginning of the hike.

My hiking buddies in the meadow at the top.

These guys all had matching snow Mohawks.

The Pinnacles is a place of shapes all year round.
