Mount
Adams, Washington During
a trip through the Columbia Gorge in early 2006 I was walking through
a fruit orchard in Odell, Oregon, when I topped a ridge and saw this
great view across the Columbia River Gorge of Mt. Adams, Washington.
Mount Adams is the second most massive volcano in the Cascades after
Mt. Shasta, and it is an awesome sight, even though it is a lesser known
mountain than others in the Cascades, including nearby Mt. Saint Helens,
which is just beyond the left side of this photo. BACK TO MOUNTAIN SCENICS GALLERY ** BACK TO HOME
