This photo was taken about a kilometer downstream of the Deep Creek Hot Springs. In the pool just beyond this one, I saw one- to two-pound trout swimming.
This photo shows the creek running strongly in the driest part of the year.
This is the first pool, about 20 meters below where the hot water first comes out of the mountain. You wouldn't want to put your body in this pool. In the pool farther up, the water was too hot to keep your hand in for long.
I like this place.
