Crater Lake With Whitebark Pine Tree
by Lee Reeder

This photo was taken from the North Rim of Crater Lake in June 2006. Many of the Whitebark Pine trees (Pinus albicaulis) along the rim of Crater Lake are stunted and deformed by constant exposure to wind. Crater Lake is known for the awesome blueness of its water, which this image captures.
