Route 66 Shield Photo Cajon Pass Blue Cut Rest Stop
by Lee Reeder

The Blue Cut Rest Stop was one of the most popular stops on Route 66, where travelers still stop to cool off in nearby Cajon Creek. The rest stop sits nearly atop the San Andreas Fault. This photo was taken in February 2005 and appeared in a photo travel feature I authored, which was published in Inland Empire Magazine (July 2005).
