Memorial Day, 2005 Captain John's Fawn Harbor Marina on Big Bear Lake
captured some of the spirit of this place,
known
for its natural beauty and recreation by most, and by the scientific
community for having the most sunny days
of just about anywhere in the world. Across the way is Ten Thousand
Foot Ridge, where I have volunteered on trail patrols with the San Gorgonio
Wilderness Association. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to
find a fun way of getting in shape over the summer.
