This is one of the main formations in the southern portion of the Mormon Rocks, which few people except train engineers ever see. To get an idea of scale, I'm a big guy, but if I were standing anywhere on these rocks, you would not even recognize the speck as a person.
I guess that's why they call them succulents, because they're so...I don't know....succulent.

Nice and wet this year out here in one of my favorite places. . These guys were a little creepy. I don't think I'd want to make a campfire here at night.
This little hidden valley is nice. If you come here in winter or spring, watch out for quicksand along the creek.
